MirrorMe
I make things that turn motion into meaning. MirrorMe, my interactive computer-vision web app, helps people mirror poses in real time and track progress using MediaPipe, OpenCV, and Flask. I design for two aims: (1) practical impact-tools that reduce friction for users like patients, teachers, and caregivers; and (2) open-ended exploration—prototyping interfaces where feedback feels “alive.”
I created MirrorMe to simulate an at-home physical therapist. It began with my grandmother’s hesitant twirl and grew through 50+ hours of testing with Parkinson’s classes. My favorite part is the visual feedback loop. Color overlays plus a timed checkmark are used to provide users with “I got it!” moments. That shift from metrics to motivation made user sessions fun and practice stickier.
